How it Works

  I bought 2 based on the other reviews on amazon - the reviews were 100% correct. Before I bought them i had a haze layer in my house, after a couple days of them running, that haze layer was gone. great product.

  We are very happy with this air cleaner. After reading many reviews, we decided on this for a large open concept family room, kitchen.
  I personally can't see a difference, but friends who came over were not bothered by cat allergies that usually flare up. We are looking forward to allergy season to see if it makes a difference with my hubbys springtime allergies.

  This is a great filter. I love that the air is noticeably cleaner after running it in our bedroom. Yes. The high setting is louder than the lower settings. But we live on a busy street and use it as white noise to block the road noise at night.

  Live next to someone who constantly cooks fish and Indian food, also i love in colorado so many of my neighbors smoke pot. smells used to permeate my apartment for hours. This purifier helps to drastically minimize those smells. Easy to pop of the filter every few weeks and vacuum of dust buildup. I am breathing alot easier with this great product

  More than what I expected. My head felt heavy for a good part of the day. With this GG Air Purifier, the heaviness completely disappeared in 3 days. Just a couple of weeks now, so I haven't looked at the filter. Those who said it was whisper quiet on the 1st level and very tolerable on the second level seem to be off somewhat. The one that I have is whisper quiet on the second level. An illustration? You could sleep next to it, and all you'll hear is a slight breeze. Packed very tightly. No problem putting it together. I still need to order the replacement filters after the 1st of the month. In summary, you cannot go wrong with this item.

  I love this filter. It actually does a great job keeping almost the whole house smell free. It certainly makes the whole house smell cleaner. I live with three cats and frequent visitors. This unit is amazing. Do buy extras of the black filter parts and swap those monthly. Also vacuum the black part weekly and your expensive filter will last 5-6 months easy.

  I purchased this air cleaning system as a gift for my Mother who suffers from COPD. I received the product faster than expected. After taking it to my Mom and plugging it in, it immediately went to work cleansing the air. It has been about 2 months since I got it for her, and she has only had to dust the furniture ONE time since then, when before we got it, it was a daily thing. Her breathing has improved and there is no smell (she has a cat) in her house. Well worth the money! I highly recommend it!

  I was nervous after reading reviews, but I figured I'd give it a try, and luckily I've not had any of the problems others have had with this device, namely the plastic smell or other unpleasantness. I've had it running full-blast with the UV on since the minute it arrived, and oh boy, I love this thing. It has done a pretty decent job of clearing a lingering cigarette smell, though I'll admit, the smell is there if you go looking for it (like, for instance, sniffing books the smoker read...) But for simply clearing out smoke that was so thick I saw it wafting by, this is the machine. I move it round the condo, use it in closets as well as rooms and I will probably purchase a second one to keep the air clean, despite the smoker no longer being in the house. I anticipated needing to change the filters much sooner than has been required, and really, I couldn't be more happy with this machine. Obviously, not everyone has had the easy experience I've had, so take this with a grain of salt.

  I had a lot of allergic response to dust and maybe mold before I bought this. If I put the laundry on my bed to fold it, I would have to wash the entire bedding, I would get so allergic from the dust. If I didn't vacuum every week, I would be very allergic as well. Now I don't have issues. Very good air purifier. I vacuum the filter occasionally to keep it clean. We keep it on the low setting 24/7.

  Hello, I am the one who definitely research everything I buy (which can be rather time consuming :) and review only if it REALLY impresses me. This definitely impressed me..I have allergies and asthma and did not want an ionic system, I am not stating any medical claims by no means,yes I had asthma all my life so I still wheeze from time to time and of course sinus blah blahs is my norm..BUT!!! !the coolness of the air, not cold.. while I sleep is refreshing!!! I put it on level one..which makes it feel like I am breathing fresh air. When I leave the room I close my room off, blast to highest level with UV light for a while...One other thing..I am a Very light sleeper and I can tolerate this ON level One while I sleep, no blue or UV light that's too bright for me and the green light that shows its on I strategically place so I don't see it. I had my daughter get one for her house and her 1yr older. I am a desert dweller and I don't see as much "dust" daily in our room. So that being said, I will probably get the larger one for our living room..

  This is a great air purifier. It is very quiet, and it doubles as an oscillating fan which is nice.The amount of everyday dust they collect is amazing. We both are very satisfied.
  
  I've seen an improvement with my allergies and it has lessened the amount that of dust in my house. It also helps with food and dog smells.

  my allergist recommended I purchase a hepafilter to help manage my allergies. after researching and reading a variety of reviews I finally purchased this model. i've only had it a couple of months but so far i'm very happy. the unit is very quiet, has a number of settings with simple controls, required little to no set-up, and seems to do a good job of filtering the air in my apartment (1200 sg ft). i have not had to change any filters or perform any maintenance yet which is a plus but also means I cannot speak to the ease/cost of these aspects of the unit.

  I really like this, it works and the replacement filters are not too expensive. It has a little light to tell you when to replace them, ive had it for about 5 months and have not had to yet. The lowest setting is quiet enough to leave on while you sleep as long as it is not too close you your head. I have noticed considerably less dust in my room since using this for a few hours every day.

  Good stuff it was actually for my fiancé the pollen has been so thick that the cars have a film on them but her allergies have been under control, of course there were other factors to aleviate her allergies but I'd recommend it to my mom

Worked fast, cleared the air of odor

We had a rental unit that had both water damage and a rodent issue. The air was so foul, the plumber refused to enter the premises. After removing the carpet the odor still lingered. Setting this unit in the apartment cleared the air in about 24 hours! We were so impressed we bought another.

I would recommend this to a friend!

The cats can stay

I found out after getting cats that I an allergic to cats. I was beginning to lose sleep and was waking up congested and having a headache. I bought two of these and began moving them around the apartment. Within a week the effects of the cat dander were greatly reduced.

I have been using this for a while now cos of my pet and I can tell it helps clear the air in the room. I am not bothered with the noise it makes but it could be pretty loud like a window type AC if you put it on high level.

I picked this up after leaving the emergency room for severe asthma attacks and had been researching weeks before for an additional air purifier. I keep this on in my bedroom on low at all times to keep the air fresh while keeping my door always closed. I have a separate one suitable for a medium size space in another room on medium if I'm spending the day at home. Did my research all over and this was a great buy, especially that it was on sale at Best Buy. Recommended to allergy and asthma sufferers.

Worth the money, very quiet, efficient

Don't bother spending money of a $50 or less air purifier. This one is very energy efficient and quiet. The only downside is you cannot turn off the UV light if you want to utilize the feature.

I was skeptical on how an air purifier could make my breathing better, but as someone who regular experiences allergies this has made my nights much more restful.
